The State of Activation: Domesticated by Day, Feral by Night

Wild things never knew captivity. They never learned commands, boundaries, or the soft cages of polite society. A feral creature is different: it was once domesticated. It lived by the rules, ate from the bowl, and walked on the leash. And then something snapped, the door opened, and it remembered what its teeth were for. That is the distinction. A feral animal is not a wild animal, yet they rarely become domestic again. FERAL MODE has an off-switch. When the wild one, returns to domestication.
